Project Design Lab, 2023
In July 2023, teachers came together for Community Engagement Lab’s sixth Project Design Lab in Burlington, VT. Following the NETAC gathering, teacher teams designed projects around themes of belonging and sustainability.
In a workshop encouraging participants to consider the meaning of belonging, we looked at animal, bird and insect communities, studied outsider and folk art, and participants created artworks based on what it means to belong.
