NETAC: the Vermont Gathering
The River was a collective community engagement artwork I designed to sit at the heart of the first NETAC (the New England Teaching Artist Collaborative) gathering in Burlington, VT, and hosted by Community Engagement Lab.
Over two energizing days, artists, teaching artists, and administrators from across the New England states gathered to do some blue sky thinking, articulate needs and goals, identify teaching artist superpowers, and explore pathways for teaching artists of the future, which were all captured in the river of thriving communities. Movement sessions led by Ashley Hensel-Browning.
