A Journey Across Boundaries, Chandler Gallery VT

A Journey Across Boundaries is currently showing at the Chandler Art Gallery, Randolph VT and runs from June to September 2016. Curated by  Gowri Savoor and Angelo Arnold, the show features the work of 1o regional artists including Angelo Arnold, Galen Cheney, Jason Galligan-Baldwin, Karen Henderson, Rachel Moore, Gowri Savoor, Jason Swift and Mary Zompetti, in addition to poet and winner of the Vermont Book award 2015, Kerrin McCadden and musician and composer, Evan Premo.

The issue of Boundaries is both pertinent and topical and the show brings to focus the ways in which artists understand the invisible and unspoken walls that exist within our environment–complex barriers that shift our perspective, redefine relationships and shape our understanding of the world. Some of the artists have addressed emotional boundaries within their personal histories, others have interpreted the physical, ecological and geopolitical divisions within our local and global systems.
